The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut Pre-Production Test Car Has Arrived At Its Destination

In March 2019, the stunning Koenigsegg Jesko made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show, joined a year later by the top-speed-focused Jesko Absolut. It may seem like a lifetime ago, but the Jesko Absolut is still alive and well.

It's not just a display car, we're talking about it. Koenigsegg has revealed new photographs of the first pre-production Jesko Absolut, which is finished in Graphite Grey and with orange markings. It will serve as the primary test vehicle for the Jesko Absolut program, and it will be powered by the same twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 and nine-speed gearbox as the normal Jesko.

"The Absolut feels very natural to drive. Because of its seamless shifting, whether up or down, everything just happens much faster," Markus Lundh, a test driver for Koenigsegg, stated. The goal of all of this effort is to construct what could be the world's fastest production car. When using E85 fuel, the Jesko's enhanced V8 engine produces 1,600 horsepower.

The Jesko Absolut has a projected max speed of over 330 mph because of the aerodynamic improvements and the nine-speed gearing. Christian von Koenigsegg, the company's creator, has already stated that it will be the quickest automobile the company has ever built.

Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut would easily surpass the unofficial 304 mph top speed of the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+. Bugatti is the first carmaker to achieve 300 mph in a production automobile, although the achievement is unofficial because the speed was achieved in a single direction rather than an average of two ways.
