The X Gran Berlinetta Concept and GV60 Magma weren’t just there for show—they hit the legendary track with serious attitude, giving us a sneak peek at Genesis’s growing obsession with motorsport and high-performance machines.

The X Gran Berlinetta resembles a vehicle from a video game, yet it is more than just an attractive appearance—it is fully functional. Racing legend Jacky Ickx took it for a joyride around the circuit, pushing it hard.

Genesis initially stated that the concept combines a mid-mounted V6 engine with an electric motor, producing 1,071 horsepower and nearly 1,000 lb-ft of torque. It's unclear whether this is the exact setup under Ickx's feet, but he couldn't contain his excitement: "It's a complete beast—raw, loud, and wild." The GV60 Magma, a near-production electric vehicle, is expected to be Genesis's response to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and Kia EV6 GT.
