Hyundai N Vision 74 Concept Could Be Ready For Limited Run By 2026

Hyundai’s new documentary, "The Great Heritage—CAR," has sparked major excitement, especially with its potential sneak peek at a production version of the Hyundai N Vision 74 concept.
In the trailer, a red, heavily blurred sports car is shown alongside the original 2022 concept, likely as part of an exterior design evaluation. While details are obscured, the car appears to retain the sharp, wedge-shaped silhouette and aggressive front splitter, hinting that Hyundai is serious about bringing it to life.

The N Vision 74 takes inspiration from Giugiaro’s 1974 Hyundai Pony Coupe, and fittingly, both Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro appear in the documentary, alongside Ken Okuyama and Hyundai’s design team.
Is the Hyundai N Vision 74 Finally Heading for Production?
Hyundai has sent mixed signals about putting the N Vision 74 into production, but last year, the company confirmed it will debut by 2030 as the halo model for the N sub-brand. However, rumors suggest it could arrive much sooner—possibly in 2026 as a limited run of 200 units. A small production batch would be ideal for Hyundai to test its hydrogen-electric hybrid tech, which includes dual electric motors generating 670 hp, hydrogen fuel cell, and a 62.4 kWh battery pack.

With Hyundai N engineers fine-tuning the chassis, this could be one of the most exciting performance cars in years. The trailer also reveals two mysterious SUVs in the background—both looking like clay models. Their identities are unknown, but there are a few theories:
The silver SUV could be the next-gen Tucson, a China-specific model like the Mufasa, or even a rejected design.
The larger, boxier SUV might be the long-rumored ladder-frame off-roader that’s been speculated as Hyundai’s answer to the Toyota Land Cruiser, positioned above the Palisade.

The documentary will be available exclusively on Korea’s WAVVE platform, but hopefully, Hyundai will release more teasers soon. Until then, the glimpses we’ve seen are enough to get enthusiasts talking.
