Veritas RS III Concept Car Is Your Adrenalin Pill For Weekend!

This Veritas RS III concept car comes directly from Germany and is the product of a company founded in 1948. Veritas was the first German team ever that managed to compete in the Grand Prix Formula 1.
The financial issues made the company shut down in 1952, but it came back in 2001 through the RS3 concept, which was the first car ever running on BMW V12.

However, this concept is very different from the 2001 version. One of the main differences is the engine, which comes in two alternatives: it may be a V8 BMW which produces 480 hp and has a capacity of 5 liters. This option allows the car to reach 62 mph in 3.6 seconds. The other version is a V10 BMW, riding 600 hp and working with a sequential transmission, reaching 62 mph in 3.2 seconds.

Kevlar carbon was used for the Veritas body, which was installed on a chassis made out of tubular frames. This system allowed the car not to exceed the weight of 1100 kg.
Another great thing about this car is the independent suspensions, coming from Ohlins. The brakes come from TRW Racing.
