In a jaw-dropping display of automotive prowess, a tuning shop in Puerto Rico has unleashed the full potential of the BMW M3 Competition xDrive, elevating it to a staggering 1027 horsepower. This remarkable feat was achieved through a series of carefully engineered enhancements, propelling the Bavarian legend into a league of its own.

The transformation begins with the installation of a KLM Race S58 turbo kit and the addition of a Precision Turbo & Engine 7275 Gen 2 turbocharger. To further enhance performance, a methanol injection kit has been integrated into the package. Powering this beast is E85 ethanol fuel, known for delivering power and torque gains of up to 20% in select vehicles. The increased exhaust gas flow also ensures quicker turbo spooling, elevating the M3's capabilities to new heights.

This achievement positions the tuned G80 M3 as one of the most extreme in existence, surpassing even the Driftbrothers' M4, which boasted 1035 horsepower two years ago.

Initial dyno testing reveals the engine's output at an impressive 996 horsepower. However, during a subsequent run, Bimmer PR shattered expectations by achieving an astonishing 1027 horsepower at a tire pressure of 40. This 4-door sedan now boasts more horsepower than some of the world's most iconic supercars, including the SF90 Ferrari, the Revuelto Lamborghini, and even the Veyron Bugatti.

Notably, this tuning project yields twice the power of a standard M3 Competition, which produces a modest 503 horsepower. This accomplishment raises the question: What has been done to the engine?

Whether stock or forged, this marks the debut of a G80 M3 that crosses the 1000-horsepower threshold in Puerto Rico.

We eagerly anticipate witnessing how this revolutionary M3 harnesses its newfound power and the impact it has on its overall performance. As a point of reference, the stock Competition xDrive can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 3.4 seconds, ultimately reaching a top speed of 155 mph. Opting for the M Driver’s package extends the top speed to 180 mph.

Taking these factors into consideration, it's reasonable to expect that the forward-thinking experts at Bimmer PR will shave at least half a second off the 0-60 sprint time and deliver remarkable in-gear acceleration. Notably, the renowned BMW G-Power tuner has borrowed 720 horsepower from the M3 Competition, showcasing how a single big turbo can effortlessly outperform two smaller, quicker-responding turbos.
