Toyota Mirai Can’t Keep Up With Increasing Demand in the US!

Contrary to most energy experts' opinion, the fuel cell car (hydrogen fuel) is in demand in the US. There have been 1,900 orders in only two months
Toyota announced that they received 1,900 Mirai orders from the US alone in the two months since their online order page was launched. Now the website directs visitors to a waiting list.
The automaker said that, unfortunately, it will only deliver 1,000 models of 2016 Mirai in the US.
Toyota Mirai fuel cell stack combines hydrogen gas from oxygen tanks to produce electricity. It then goes to a 113 kW motors (152 hp) that power the front wheels. The re-fueling process takes less than 5 minutes.
EPA estimates about 67 MPGe combined, which equals to about 3.5l/100km and a range of 312 miles.
On another note, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, said that hydrogen-powered cars are simply stupid and extremely inefficient.
