This Is the Most Extreme Continental GT Supersports Ever Built

Bentley has revealed the new Continental GT Supersports, and it’s easily the wildest version of the coupe the brand has ever built. In a big break from tradition, the car drops the usual all-wheel-drive setup and goes rear-wheel drive only. For a model that has relied on AWD since 2003, that’s a huge philosophical shift.
Power comes from a reworked 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that now makes 666 hp and 800 Nm of torque. It’s paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox and sends the GT from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. Flat out, it’ll do 310 km/h.

The exterior has been completely rethought with aerodynamics in mind. The Supersports gets the most aggressive aero kit Bentley has ever put on a production car: a new front bumper with Bentley’s biggest splitter to date, carbon-fiber side skirts, a rear diffuser and spoiler, and even a carbon roof panel.

The stance is finished off with 22-inch wheels developed together with Manthey Racing and a titanium Akrapovič exhaust. If you want something even stickier for track use, Pirelli Trofeo RS tires are on the options list. All that aero isn't just for show—the package adds 300 kg more downforce than the GT Speed and pushes the car’s weight just under the 2-ton mark.

Inside, Bentley has gone all-in on purpose-built performance. The rear seats are gone, replaced with a carbon-fiber shelf wrapped in leather. The front seats sit lower and offer much stronger lateral support. Leather, Dinamica microfiber, and carbon trim dominate the cabin.

Underneath, the Continental GT Supersports gets wider rear wheels, an electronic limited-slip differential, torque vectoring, and four-wheel steering to help manage all that power going to the rear axle. Bentley will build only 500 units, and the first cars are expected to reach customers in 2027.
