This 1996 Honda Civic Is An AMG-Style Frankenstein On Wheels

This build is pretty wild. An Indonesian guy took a 1996 Honda Civic and turned it into a “Mercedes supercar,” mixing real and aftermarket parts. It's got the look of a performance Benz, though, let’s be honest, it’s not fooling anyone up close.
The front end is where things get interesting. He slapped on headlights from a first-gen Mercedes M-Class (W163) and made a custom grille that looks like a Mercedes-McLaren SLR. The bumper intakes and hood vents give a nod to AMG models, while fake side vents add a bit of sporty flair.

But the real fun starts with the roofline. The reshaping is so intense that it almost resembles a rollover. This gives it frameless doors and some funky proportions—kind of like a Mercedes CLK if you squint real hard, but not really.

Around back, he used taillights from a second-gen Mercedes SLK (R171) roadster, paired them with a custom tailgate and bumper, and threw in some quad exhaust tips with a diffuser for that sporty look. There's also a rear wing, super-slim mirrors, and 18-inch Meister alloy wheels.

The interior features a more prominent Mercedes theme. He threw a Mercedes logo on the steering wheel, added yellow door inserts, and dropped in a big infotainment screen. Meanwhile, the audio system is ridiculously packed with speakers. Under the hood, though, it’s still 100% Honda. The iVTEC engine and five-speed manual are unchanged, and it's front-wheel drive, so don’t expect any crazy performance. This supercar is all about looks, not speed.

The car showed up on Facebook Marketplace with at least two listings. And for some reason, the seller got creative with Photoshop and added Ferraris in the background. As for the price, it’s between 75 and 79 million Indonesian Rupiahs, which comes out to about $4,600–$4,800. The mods are said to have cost around 40 million Rupiahs ($2,400), so someone definitely spent a decent chunk of change on this thing.
