Unveiling the revamped QX80, Infiniti is embracing spring. After debuting in 2010 and getting two redesigns in 2015 and 2018, the present model has been in production for an incredible fourteen years! The 2025 QX80 pays homage to its predecessors without sacrificing the sleek "Artistry in Motion" aesthetic that Infiniti is known for.

A revised version of the brand's signature double-arch grille graces the front fascia. It showcases an illuminated Infiniti emblem and takes design cues from the organic bamboo forest forms. The split lighting units and vertical air curtains that flank the grille enhance its aerodynamics.

We can notice the new flush-mounted door handles and updated front fender vents contribute to the sleek appearance. To give the impression of more space, the new greenhouse has blacked-out pillars. Additionally, the D-pillar has undergone some trimming and now features an element that resembles waves. Designed to evoke tranquil reflections of light upon a body of water, the liftgate with a full-width light bar features more than 300 LEDs.

As an element of its setup process, the QX80 provides a whole new Light Path system. When the owner approaches the car, the daytime running lights turn on, the door handles mechanically extend, and the Infiniti emblem lights up. Then, to leave a lasting impression, the Light Path system projects a breathtaking wing-like pattern onto the ground.

A new dynamic metal paint job took almost six years to create at Infiniti. Infiniti uses a precise process that ensures metallic flakes lay flat to apply the paint."Smooth texture and a hue that dramatically changes based on viewing angle" is the end outcome of this process.

Designers rethought the QX80's interior in light of the Japanese concept of miyabi. Consequently, it features two 14.3-inch screens and a layered design with soft-touch elements. The infotainment system stands out since it has Google embedded right in. Users should expect to see Google Maps, Assistant, and the Play Store.

On the center console sits a new 9-inch display that rules the dashboard. The climate control settings, front seat controls, and drive mode selection are all accessible from this location. Even without displays, the model's combination of leather, wood, and metal creates an opulent look. The dashboard boasts smooth lines and a multitude of plush touches, including illuminated Infiniti badging.

A 64-color ambient lighting system, a push-button shifter, and an optional center console cool box are among the other notable features. In addition to heated and ventilated front and rear seats, customers also have the option of a heated third row. This model also has front and second-row massage seats.

Additionally, you can add a whole new biometric cooling system to the QX80. It employs an infrared sensor in the headliner to determine whether the people in the back are becoming too hot. If so, the air conditioner will rapidly cool off the traveler without their intervention. The technique may sound a bit gimmicky, but research has proven that passengers can reach a suitable temperature in half the time, according to Infiniti.

The new front-wide image feature utilizes cameras to offer a 170-degree image of the vehicle's environment on the 14.3-inch screens. As an additional feature, the Invisible Hood View records footage of the area immediately in front of the car. An enhanced digital rearview mirror and an AroundView monitor accompany them.

Interestingly, a new Journey Diary has the ability to record video and take images with the front-facing camera, since we're on the subject of cameras. You may use the model's built-in camera to spy on people in the backseat, share photos on social media, or remotely monitor the automobile.

A 14-speaker Klipsch audio system with 600 watts of power will be standard on the Lux and Pure versions of the QX80. The Sensory and Autograph versions are more advanced, with a 24-channel amplifier, an 8-inch TriPower subwoofer, titanium tweeters, and a 24-speaker system. Four speakers installed on the top and two speakers with metal accents on the front headrests make up the system.

The QX80 Autograph, with its one-of-a-kind external design and ultra-luxurious interior, is, of course, the flagship of flagships. This second option has semi-aniline quilted leather upholstery, open-pore ash wood accents with laser-cut metal inlays, and a touchscreen located in the back for controlling the temperature and the seats.

Even without extras, the 2025 QX80 offers additional inside space thanks to 30% more trunk space behind the third row. Additionally, the model benefits from an additional 18% space behind the second row, a smoother floor, and a little 1-inch increase in length.

2025 Infiniti QX80
There are seven- and eight-seat options available to buyers, with the third-row offering significantly enhanced width, knee and legroom, and increased knee and foot space. Additionally, you will find the last two rows powered for your convenience.

A 3.5-liter V6 engine with twin turbos has replaced the 5.6-liter V8 engine. The engine manages 450 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, which may sound like a decrease, but you'd be surprised. This is a whole 50-horsepower and 103-pound-foot boost. Infiniti has also installed a new nine-speed gearbox, replacing the previous seven-speed transmission. It will enable responsive acceleration and efficient highway cruising, according to Infiniti.

The Pure and Lux both have basic rear-wheel drive, but the Sensory and Autograph are available with four-wheel drive. Another feature available on this SUV is an air suspension that allows for a 2.8-inch drop or a 2.4-inch rise, perfect for off-roading. Also, a sturdier frame means better handling, which is good news for buyers. The torsional stiffness is 300 percent higher, while the lateral stiffness is 57% higher.

Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Warning, and Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection are just a few of the standard driver aid technologies that ensure the safety of the vehicle. Along with these, you'll have Blind Spot Intervention, Trailer Blind Spot Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

2025 Infiniti QX80
With the built-in ProPILOT Assist 1.1, you can rest on lengthy drives thanks to adaptive cruise control and a lane-centering feature. On some highways, the more expensive models come with ProPILOT Assist 2.1, a Level 2 semi-autonomous driving technology.

We expect the 2025 Infiniti QX80 to go on sale this summer, with a base price of $82,450 and a destination fee of $1,995. This is a considerable increase above the starting price of $74,150 for the 2024 model.
