Techrules from China has presented the teaser of its supercar before its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show. This supercars' concept was first presented last year by a pair of AT96 and GT96 concepts and now it has reached the production version.
The supercar is based on its form and function and it has got a jet fighter-style canopy and a centrally positioned driver's seat. One of the highlights is that its innovative front end will be embellished by a set of laser headlights, as well as LED taillights at the back. The car features cameras that replace the side mirrors. However, this is legal only in Japan.

The body was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and Fabrizio Giugiaro and its chassis - engineered by L.M. Gianetti from Italy. The production of this supercar is planned to take place in Italy, by the end of the year. There is going to be a limited number of units produced per year, just 25.

This vehicle will use Turbine-Recharging Electric Vehicle (TREV) powertrain. For example one of the concepts previewing this supercar, GT96, had a micro-turbine spinning at 96,000 rpm to offer 36 kW, 30 kW with its 20 kWh lithium-manganese-oxide battery. The concept had two engines, delivering 1,030 hp (768 kW) and 6,372 lb-ft (8,640 Nm) torque.

The weight of the GT96 concept was 1,380 kg (3,042 pounds), while Techrules is planning its supercar to weigh less than 1,000 kg. The model should be able to reach 62 mph (0-100 kph) in 2.5 seconds with a presumed range of 1,242 miles (2,000 km).
