Sonderwunsch Program Brings A One-of-a-Kind Porsche 911 GT3 RS To Brazil

Porsche fans know that when the standard offering isn’t quite enough, there’s something truly rare waiting in the wings: the Sonderwunsch program. Translating to “special request” in German, it’s Porsche’s way of saying, “Sure, we can build your dream car, but it’s going to be really special.” In Brazil, it’s only been offered four times for the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, and this latest example is something else.

This particular 911 GT3 RS is the last of the pre-facelift 992-generation models to hit Brazilian soil. And it’s far from stock. The owner dropped a jaw-dropping R$1.3 million (about $220,000 USD) just on customizations. That’s on top of the car’s base price in Brazil, which runs around R$2 million (roughly $339,000 USD).

Here’s how it works: if Porsche’s existing catalog doesn’t quite scratch your itch, Sonderwunsch lets you go full bespoke. You actually head to Germany and sit down with Porsche’s design team to dream up your one-off build. But don’t think this is some easy, open-invitation kind of thing. Only about 600 customers get access per year, and just 12 of those cars can be painted in Chromaflair colors: an insanely intricate, hand-applied finish that changes depending on the light. It’s rare, even by Porsche standards.

This special Porsche 911 GT3 RS took two years from first sketch to delivery. It’s coated in Explosive Gold, one of those rare Chromaflair finishes that shimmers and shifts depending on how the light hits it. Even small components like the DRS actuators were painted. A ton of carbon fiber is on display, and Porsche left certain areas unpainted—especially those likely to get chipped during track use.

Inside, it’s wall-to-wall Race-Tex, with color-matched stitching and every detail tying back to the Weissach package. The whole build even comes with its own presentation box. Inside is a scale model finished in the same exact paint, fabric swatches, matching stitching samples, a signed certificate, and a breakdown of every single feature. The key is painted to match the car too.

This Porsche 911 GT3 RS now lives as part of one of Brazil’s most exclusive Porsche collections. It was delivered through Stuttgart Porsche, the only dealership in the country with the Exclusive Manufaktur Partner badge—meaning they’re the only ones who can even offer this level of customization. It’s not just about driving fast. It’s about driving something no one else in the world has.
