Roush Just Gave the Mustang GT Supercar Power for Surprisingly Little Money

Roush has turned the 2026 Ford Mustang GT and Dark Horse into something properly ridiculous. Both cars already come with a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8, but add the company’s new supercharger kit and output jumps to 810 hp and 630 lb-ft of torque.
The setup uses an Eaton TVS R2650 supercharger running 13 psi of boost, paired with intercoolers, a front-mounted heat exchanger, and a high-flow Bosch intercooler pump to help keep temperatures under control. Roush also adds upgraded injectors, billet fuel rails, revised spark plugs, and a few other supporting tweaks to make the whole package work reliably.

One of the nicer details is that the kit fits without forcing owners to start cutting up the car. The factory hood stays, the engine bay doesn’t need major modifications, and even the stock K-brace remains in place. Roush also includes a 3-year / 36,000-mile limited powertrain warranty, and the package is legal in all 50 states.

Interestingly, this setup actually edges out the Mustang Dark Horse SC in horsepower, producing 810 hp versus 795 hp, though torque is slightly lower at 630 lb-ft versus 660 lb-ft. Realistically, most people are probably too busy hanging onto the steering wheel to care.

At $10,339, the kit definitely isn’t cheap. Then again, finding 810 hp for a total price of roughly $58,894 has become almost impossible these days.
