Renault Trafic E-Tech Revealed Soon With 450-KM Range Option
by AutoExpert | 13 November, 2025
Renault has set an official date for the debut of its next-generation electric Trafic. The production model will be revealed on November 18 at the Solutrans show in France.
We first saw the prototype back in the spring, but now Renault is ready to unveil the real deal, which will be known as the Trafic E-Tech. It sits on a platform developed by Ampere, the division in charge of all Renault Group EVs, so this isn’t just an electrified version of the old van—it’s been engineered for electric use from the start.

The Renault Trafic E-Tech will come with a 204 hp electric motor and 345 Nm of torque. Thanks to its 800-volt architecture, the battery can charge from 15% to 80% in about 20 minutes, which is especially handy for commercial users who can’t afford long breaks. Buyers will have two battery options:
- an LFP pack with up to 350 km of range (WLTP)
- an NMC pack offering around 450 km of range (WLTP)
Renault will build the electric Trafic in Sandouville, France, with sales scheduled to start in 2026. It’s clear that Renault wants the Trafic E-Tech to be a serious player in the electric van world—fast charging, solid range options, and a platform specifically designed for EVs should give it a strong start.
