Posaidon Transforms Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe Into A 927 HP Monster

Posaidon, a German tuner, has unveiled a set of tuning kits for the Mercedes-AMG S63, increasing the previous generation S-Class limousine's power output up to 927 hp.

Since S63 already came with a strong AMG body kit from the factory, Posaidon chose to go for a more subtle design. The only difference is that the basic air suspension now has an electrical lowering module that lowers the ground clearance. The car shown is a Mercedes-AMG S63 4MATIC+ with a long wheelbase, which is still the ultimate performance limousine, at least before the next hybrid version arrives.

The facelifted S63 (W222) is powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine featured in other AMG cars such as the E 63 S. The engine delivers 612 hp (456 kW / 620 PS) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque in stock configuration. A nine-speed automatic gearbox sends power to all 4 wheels.

Improved ball-bearing turbochargers, a sports air filter, new downpipes with racing catalytic converters, and new software for the motor and gearbox are all included in Posaidon's standard RS 830 kit. The engine delivers 818 hp (610 kW / 830 PS) and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque as a result of all of this.

The intermediate RS 830+ has 868 hp (647 kW / 880 PS) of power and 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of torque for those who want far more. The acceleration from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) takes 3.2 seconds, with a max speed of 350 km/h (218 mph).

Lastly, the RS 830+ (which has the same designation as the previous package) has reworked cylinder heads and valve seats, as well as a new water/methanol injection system, in addition to the changes outlined above. This boosts power to a whopping 927 hp (691 kW / 940 PS) and torque to an incredible 1,280 Nm (944 ft-lb).

In this scenario, the max speed approaches 350 km/h (218 mph), allowing you to pass everybody on the highway.
Posaidon is also selling the software modifications separately, allowing the V8 to achieve 697 hp (520 kW / 707 PS) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft), without messing with the hardware.
