Porsche’s Electric Cayenne Coupe Is Basically a Supercar SUV

Porsche saw something interesting with the Cayenne Coupe. A lot of buyers picked it over the regular SUV, even though it’s less practical. So now they’re leaning into that and adding a full electric version.
This is basically the Cayenne Electric, but with that sloped, 911-style roof. It sits lower, looks sharper, and yeah, you lose a bit of rear space. That’s part of the deal.

Under the skin, it’s the same as the regular Cayenne Electric. You get an 800-volt setup, a 113 kWh battery, and fast charging that can go from 10 to 80 percent in under 16 minutes, if you plug into a powerful charger.

Power depends on how far you go. The base version already has 435 hp, which is more than enough for daily use. The S bumps that to 657 hp. Then there’s the Turbo Coupe Electric, and it’s just crazy. Up to 1,139 hp and more than 1,100 lb-ft of torque. It does 0–60 mph in 2.4 seconds, which is basically 911 Turbo S speed, but in an SUV.

Top speed goes from 143 mph in the base model up to 162 mph in the Turbo. And somehow, it can still tow over 3.5 tons. You also get all the usual Porsche tech. Air suspension, rear steering, torque vectoring, and that Active Ride system that keeps things flat and controlled. There’s even an off-road package if you want to take it off the beaten path.

The Coupe comes well-equipped, too. Sport Chrono and a big glass roof are standard. Charging ports are split on both sides, and Porsche throws in a CCS adapter as well. Prices start at $113,800 and go up to around $168k for the Turbo. First deliveries should land late summer 2026.

To us, it’s a bit of an odd mix. A coupe SUV, electric, very fast, and still able to tow. But clearly, that’s what people want now.
