Porsche Built a Green GT3 So Exclusive Only 51 People Can Own One

Porsche loves a special-edition 911, and this latest one is reserved exclusively for British buyers. Called the 911 GT3 Touring Earls Court 51 Edition, it celebrates 75 years of Porsche in the UK and will be limited to just 51 cars.
The name is a nod to the 1951 Earls Court Motor Show, where the first Porsche 356 models were displayed in Britain.

Based on the manual-only 911 GT3 Touring, the special edition is finished in a unique Earls Court Green metallic paint created specifically for the project. Silver accents on the hood, mirrors, and door handles add contrast, while custom wheels measure 20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear.

Inside, Porsche has gone all-in on the green theme. Night Green leather covers the dashboard, steering wheel, door panels, and even parts of the front trunk. Chalk Beige leather brightens up the rest of the cabin, while small Paldao wood details add a classic touch. Buyers also get 18-way Adaptive Sports Seats Plus, special headrest embroidery and LED door projectors.

Each car comes with a few extras too, including a matching duffel bag, a 1:18 scale model, and a Porsche Design chronograph. It's the kind of package Porsche buyers tend to love almost as much as the car itself.

Under the skin, nothing changes. The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six still delivers 503 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque through a six-speed manual gearbox. The price, however, is anything but ordinary. At £251,951 ($338,000), it costs around £20,000 ($26,900) more than a 911 S/T. Then again, if you're already shopping for a limited-edition GT3, are you really worried about the extra £20,000?
