Slovakia introduces the Patak Rodster, a compact convertible microcar that presents an eco-friendly solution for maneuvering through congested city streets. With dimensions measuring 132.3 inches in length, 54.9 inches in width, and 53.5 inches in height, this microcar exudes a vintage aesthetic reminiscent of the 1920s.

Under the hood, the Patak Rodster offers customers the choice between combustion or electric drivetrains.

The combustion model is powered by a water-cooled, four-stroke, four-cylinder engine, generating 20 horsepower and enabling the Rodster to accelerate to 31 mph in nine seconds, thanks to its lightweight build of 992 pounds. Equipped with a CVT single-speed transmission, it achieves a top speed of 78 mph.

On the electric front, two variants are available: Stage 1 with a 10 kWh battery and Stage 2 with a 20 kWh battery. Stage 1 promises an all-electric range of 62 miles, while Stage 2 boasts an impressive 155 miles on a single charge. The electric versions accelerate to 31 mph two seconds quicker than their combustion counterparts and achieve a slightly higher top speed of 80 mph.

Disc brakes are fitted on all four wheels for efficient braking. Inside, the microcar features a charming wood-trimmed dashboard and steering wheel, black seats, a touchscreen display, ambient lighting, and central locking. For those seeking the convenience of a retractable roof, it's available as an optional extra. Patak offers additional features like power-operated windows, windshield wipers, and a rearview mirror at the base price.

Optional upgrades include fast charging capabilities, heated seats, wireless device charging, keyless entry, parking sensors, genuine leather upholstery, and more. Remarkably, the Patak Rodster can be legally driven by 16-year-olds in most EU countries, holding a group B/B1 license. Pricing for the Rodster kicks off at around $17,600 for the gas-powered model. The electric variants cost $24,000 for Stage 1 and $26,600 for Stage 2.
