New Mini Cooper 1965 Victory Edition Pricing And Specs

Mini is in a nostalgic mood, and you can’t blame them. Sixty-one years ago, a tiny Cooper S shocked the world by winning the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally. It was the kind of victory people still talk about, the classic David versus Goliath story on four wheels. Now Mini is bringing that moment back to life with the new 1965 Victory Edition.
The look makes it clear what this car is about. It wears Chili Red paint with a white stripe running the length of the body and big “52” graphics on the sides, just like the rally car that crossed the finish line first.

There is a glass roof, a subtle “1965” badge on the C pillar, and 18-inch wheels in black or a two-tone finish. It feels playful but proud, like Mini is smiling while reminding everyone of what it once pulled off.

Inside, the door sills and steering wheel carry 1965 details, and you will spot more “52” touches around the cabin. There is even a hidden sticker that quietly mentions Timo Mäkinen’s rally win. Fans will know exactly what it means.

Performance-wise, you have choices. The Cooper S version delivers 201 horsepower and hits 62 mph in 6.6 seconds. If you want more punch, the JCW bumps that up to 228 horsepower and cuts the sprint to 6.1 seconds. Prefer electric? The John Cooper Works Electric pushes out 255 horsepower and reaches 62 mph in 5.9 seconds, with a battery good for up to 250 miles of range in the UK.

The special edition arrives later this year in several markets. In the US, only the JCW version will be offered, starting at 46,220 dollars before the destination.
