Manhart Gives The V12 BMW M760Li One Last Power Boost
by AutoExpert | 4 March, 2026
The previous-generation BMW M760Li was already something special. A full-size luxury sedan with a twin-turbo V12 is not something you see every day, and cars like that are slowly disappearing. Manhart clearly felt it deserved one last moment in the spotlight.
So the German tuner decided to give it a bit more punch. The 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 has been upgraded with Manhart’s turbo tweaks and its MHtronik Powerbox. Power climbs from 601 horsepower to 701 horsepower, while torque rises from 590 lb-ft to a huge 774 lb-ft. For a car built mainly for comfort, that is a serious amount of muscle.

Part of the upgrade includes a stainless steel exhaust with valve control and sport downpipes. Numbers aside, the real appeal might be the sound. A tuned V12 in a luxury sedan is becoming a rare thing, and when it fires up, it is not the kind of engine that whispers.

Manhart has not published new performance figures, but with the extra power, it should easily beat the factory 0–62 mph time of 3.7 seconds. With the optional M Driver’s Package, the standard car was already capable of reaching 190 mph, which is impressive for something that still focuses on comfort.

The rest of the changes are fairly subtle. The air suspension has been lowered slightly, and the car now sits on 21-inch Concave One forged wheels. Outside, you get a carbon fiber splitter, mirror caps, a small rear lip spoiler, and optional black graphics.

Inside, the cabin stays true to the 7 Series luxury feel but adds custom brown and beige leather with detailed stitching and embroidered logos. It still looks like a proper executive sedan, just one with a bit more character.
Manhart has not revealed the full price for the conversion yet, so owners interested in the upgrade will need to contact the company directly. For anyone who appreciates big engines and quiet luxury, this tuned M760Li feels like a reminder of an era that is slowly coming to an end.
