Lowered BMW X3 By AC Schnitzer Adds Style Without Power Mods

The all-new BMW X3 is barely out the gate, and tuning house AC Schnitzer has already put its stamp on it, giving the luxury SUV a sharper, more aggressive look for drivers who want a bit more flair.
The makeover starts up front with a bold new splitter and beefier side skirts that give the X3 a lower, wider stance. Around back, there's a roof-mounted rear wing that sticks out just enough to get noticed without going full boy-racer.

Wheels are a big part of the upgrade. Schnitzer offers nine different designs in 19-, 21-, and 22-inch sizes. Want your new wheels to pop even more? You can add 10 mm spacers all around to push them out closer to the arches. If you're after a sportier ride, lowering springs are available for multiple models, including the 20 xDrive, 20d xDrive, 40d xDrive, and M50 xDrive, dropping the whole thing by 25 mm (about an inch).

Inside the BMW X3, changes are subtle but classy. There's a new aluminum footrest and a redesigned keyholder—nothing flashy, but a nice touch for the detail-obsessed. Under the hood, things remain untouched for now. No engine mods or ECU tunes yet.

Of course, none of this comes cheap. The lowering springs will cost you up to €539 (around $630), while a full wheel-and-tire setup can hit €5,590 (roughly $6,550). The front splitter alone is priced at €1,790 ($2,099), the side skirts at €790 ($926), and the rear wing at €519 ($608).
