Lanzante 95-59 Supercar Costs £1M And Could Outshine The P1

Lanzante, the company best known for turning McLaren’s race cars into road-legal legends, is stepping into the spotlight with a stunning creation of its own. Called the 95-59, this new supercar is a tribute to the McLaren F1 GTR that famously took victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans back in 1995.
Rather than simply honoring the past, Lanzante has built something that feels like a modern love letter to one of motorsport’s greatest moments.

The car’s design is clearly influenced by McLaren, which makes sense considering it was penned by Paul Howse, a former McLaren designer. Look closely and you’ll spot echoes of models like the 720S and 750S, especially in the sleek bodywork and clever airflow channels. The 95-59 isn’t trying to copy the past, though—it’s carving out a fresh identity, with dramatic styling that includes sculpted side panels, slim LED lights, and a jet-inspired titanium exhaust.
One of the most special elements is the seating layout. Just like the iconic F1, the driver sits in the center, flanked by two passenger seats. Climbing into that central seat is part of the thrill, thanks to the signature dihedral doors with glass panels in the roof that fill the cabin with light. And while it’s clearly built for speed, the 95-59 also has space for luggage, making it surprisingly usable for longer trips.

Underneath the lightweight carbon fiber shell, there’s serious firepower. Lanzante has taken McLaren’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 and tuned it to produce more than 850 horsepower. Power goes to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, and notably, there’s no hybrid tech to complicate things. This is a driver’s car, built for raw performance and connection.
For those who want something even more focused, Lanzante offers an LM30 Pack. This option includes forged aluminum wheels, lightweight Inconel exhaust parts, titanium fittings, and gold-plated heat shielding. Altogether, these upgrades shave off around 20 kilograms and help the 95-59 reach a remarkable 700 horsepower per ton, putting it ahead of even the McLaren P1 in terms of power-to-weight ratio.

Dean Lanzante, the man behind it all, summed it up by saying this is the car he’s always wanted to build. There’s something magical about that central driving position, and this car aims to take that magic to the next level.
Only 59 examples of the 95-59 will be built, each starting at £1,020,000. That’s significantly less than some used McLaren P1s, which makes it even more intriguing for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

Beyond the performance and the price tag, what really stands out is how thoughtfully the car has been designed. Lanzante wanted the 95-59 to be thrilling, beautiful, and surprisingly practical, and, by all accounts, they’ve nailed it.
