Kimera Just Built the Martini Rally Dream Car Fans Always Wanted

The Kimera EVO38 already felt like a love letter to old rally cars. Loud, raw, a bit crazy. Now it gets even closer to that dream spec.
Meet the EVO38 Collezione Martini. Kimera revealed it in Sardinia during the Rally Storico Costa Smeralda, and yeah, the timing fits. They’re bringing back the Martini connection after that one-off EVO37 Martini 7, but this time it’s not a single car. It’s a small run, with different liveries pulled straight from Martini’s racing history.

The first ones already sound right. Pearl White, Vermouth Red, Dry Green. Simple, classic, and very on-brand. More versions are on the way too, so there’s some room to pick your favorite. If you’re quick. Only a few builds are still up for grabs.
The base car hasn’t changed, and that’s a good thing. You still get the wide, boxy shape, carbon body, and that clear nod to the Lancia 037. It has that same stance. Low, planted, a bit aggressive without trying too hard.

What has changed is the power. The 2.1-liter twin-charged four-cylinder now pushes 631 hp. That’s a big number for this kind of setup. Torque climbs to 700 Nm, and it revs to 8,200 rpm. No hybrid help. Just engine, boost, and noise.

There are a few clever touches too. It now runs Flex Fuel, so you can use E85 for full output. There’s also a water spray system for the intercooler, shooting cold water under load to keep things in check when you’re really pushing it.

Weight sits around 1,100 kg, maybe even a bit lower depending on the spec. With a six-speed manual and all-wheel drive, it’s the kind of car that feels alive all the time. Probably a handful on a tight road. In a good way.
Kimera also gave a quick update on the K-39. That’s their upcoming hypercar, first shown in 2024. Unlike the EVO38, it’s not based on an old platform. It’s a clean-sheet build. More info is coming on May 15.

But right now, this Martini version is the one that grabs attention. It has the look, the history, and the attitude. Feels like something made for people who grew up watching rally clips on repeat and never really moved on.
