Jason Momoa Just Built the Weirdest Bentley You’ll See This Year

Jason Momoa’s garage was already pretty far from normal, and now it includes a tiny electric Bentley with a brass skull shifter. Honestly, that feels very on-brand for him.
The actor and filmmaker teamed up with Hedley Studios to create a one-off version of the Bentley Blower Jnr, the 85-percent-scale electric tribute to Bentley’s famous 1929 supercharged racer. The standard Blower Jnr already looks unusual enough, but Momoa’s version pushes things much further with more than 100 custom-made or specially developed parts.

Finished in a deep shade called Momoa Crimson, the little Bentley also gets aged brass exterior trim, a custom Koa wood dashboard, and a “Momoa 1 of 1” plaque inside. Then there’s the gear selector: a hand-carved brass skull that reportedly took over 100 hours to make. A custom “666” radiator badge was also added as a nod to Momoa’s grandfather, who went by the nickname “El Diablo.”

The build appears in the new season of HBO Max’s On The Roam, where Momoa visits workshops, builders, and craftspeople working across different industries. Hedley Studios and the Blower Jnr project feature in one of the latest episodes.

As for the car itself, the Blower Jnr is basically a scaled-down electric version of Bentley’s old 4½ Litre Supercharged racer. It uses a 20 hp electric motor and can travel around 65 miles on a charge. It’s road legal in the U.K., Europe, and the U.S., though next to normal traffic, it still looks more like a toy-sized vintage race car.
