Honda Super EV Prepares For Goodwood With Production-Ready Looks
by AutoExpert | 19 June, 2025
Honda is gearing up for next month’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, and it's bringing a few exciting models along. Among them are the Civic Type R Ultimate Edition, the new hybrid Prelude, the electric Honda 0 SUV and a brand-new concept called the Super EV.
Honda hasn’t shared much about the Super EV yet, but its upright stance and boxy shape give off strong kei car vibes, similar to the N-One sold in Japan. That said, the Super EV appears a bit larger and fully electric, while the N-One sticks to a tiny 658cc gas engine. Size-wise, it seems closer to the discontinued Honda e.

Honda classifies it as an A-segment car, so think along the lines of a Hyundai i10 or Kia Picanto. However, since it’s electric, its closest rival might be something like the quirky new Hyundai Inster. What’s surprising is how ready-for-the-road it looks. It has proper side mirrors, regular-sized wheels, a visible charging port near the front badge, and even working air vents and rain sensors on the windshield. Honda even used standard handles and a sensible design, suggesting this might actually make it to production.

The right-hand-drive layout and license plate hint that it’s already been tested on public roads, likely in the UK. A glimpse inside shows a tablet-style infotainment screen on the dash, adding to the impression that this isn’t just a design study.

While the Honda e looked cool, it was pricey and didn’t offer great range. Hopefully, Honda has learned from that experience. If this new hatchback keeps the charm but improves on practicality and price, it could have real potential. The full reveal happens July 10–13 at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
