Honda Prologue Gets Performance Boost And Longer Range For 2025
by AutoExpert | 3 March, 2025
Last year, the Honda Prologue surprised the market by selling 33,017 units off dealer lots, and it's now even better for 2025. Honda’s added some welcome upgrades to make this electric crossover an even more attractive option.
For starters, the entry-level front-wheel-drive Prologue sees its range increase by 12 miles, now reaching an EPA-estimated 308 miles. While the battery capacity stays the same at 85 kWh, the extra distance is a nice bonus.

If you go for the dual-motor all-wheel-drive models, they benefit from a range boost as well. The EX and Touring trims now top out at 294 miles, an increase of 13 miles, while the Prologue Elite gets a smaller bump of 10 miles to 283 miles.

Moreover, the front-wheel-drive variants now pack a more powerful motor that delivers 220 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque—gains of 8 hp and 7 lb-ft. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive models have also been upgraded, now offering 300 hp and 355 lb-ft, which means an increase of 12 hp and a substantial 25 lb-ft of torque.

These power increases align closely with what’s found in the 2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV, although there’s no Prologue Type R with the 615 hp dual-motor all-wheel-drive system from the Blazer SS. Honda kept pricing steady, starting at $47,400. The destination charge has gone up a bit, now sitting at $1,450, but the good news is that all 2025 Prologues still qualify for the full $7,500 federal tax credit.
