Fellow car aficionados, we've got some exhilarating news for you! Gordon Murray Automotive will reveal two spectacular supercars on August 18 at The Quail in California. Along with the vintage Brabham BT44B Formula One car that Gordon Murray himself designed, the intriguing T.33 Spider and the track-focused T.50s Niki Lauda will be on display.

The first production model of the T.50 supercar will be unveiled, marking the first step in its journey as one of only 100 vehicles to be built. Each T.50 will be a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, displaying the brand's personalized customization service and ensuring no two vehicles are alike.

Gordon Murray, the founder, emphasized his excitement, saying, "We have so much to celebrate at this year's Monterey Car Week." He noted the different driving experience provided by the T.33 Spider, which makes its US premiere, as well as the T.50s, which make their debut in the shape of the XP1 prototype, restricted to 25 units and offering an unequaled on-track experience.

A thrilling 3.9-liter Cosworth V12 engine powers the T.50 and delights in reaching a spectacular redline of 12,100 rpm while producing an astounding 661 horsepower. The T.50s Niki Lauda, on the other hand, ups the ante with a powerful V12 producing 762 horsepower.

The T.50s is intended for great track performance, with unique aerodynamics such as a rear-mounted fan, front splitter, adjustable diffusers, and a huge back wing generating up to 2,646 lbs of downforce. The T.33 and T.33 Spider can be driven on public roads in the USA. Their estimated price of £1.8 million is less than Niki Lauda's T.50s, which cost £3.1 million.

Car aficionados who value history will appreciate the presence of the BT44B, which has a special place in motorsport tradition. At the 1974 Kyalami Grand Prix in South Africa, Gordon Murray won his first Grand Prix in this renowned Formula One car, driven by Carlos Reutemann.

To add to the memories, legendary racing driver Dario Franchitti MBE will pilot the BT44B during Car Week at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca.
