At the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Mercedes-AMG unveiled their newest GT 63 Pro 4Matic+. Specifically, an "even sportier driving experience" is what this performance-focused version claims to provide.

The 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4Matic+, which will make its US debut next year, has a bold front fascia with more oversized intakes and more carbon fiber deflectors. The active AirPanel air management system is another notable feature; it reduces aerodynamic lift on the front axle by more than 66 lbs!

Further enhancements include a fixed rear wing and extra underbody air deflectors reminiscent of the One hypercar, which are standard on the coupe. A front splitter, rear diffuser, and side skirts make up the standard carbon fiber package. The forged alloy wheels measuring 21 inches mount Michelin tires, either the Pilot Sport Cup 2 R or the Pilot Sport 5.

A high-performance braking system with the largest standard ceramic brake discs currently available from Mercedes-AMG supports your tire size choice. Six-piston calipers grasp them and provide an upfront measurement of 16.5 inches. While Mercedes was tight-lipped on the GT 63 Pro 4Matic+'s inside, we do know that it has AMG Performance seats and a sport steering wheel trimmed in leather and microfiber.

The package includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 11.9-inch infotainment system, and an optional rear seat. A twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine produces 603 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. Compared to the GT63, that's an increase of 26 horsepower and 37 pound-feet of torque. The engine transfers power to an all-wheel drive system through a nine-speed gearbox, which the driver can adjust to suit their preferences.

With this arrangement, the coupe can go from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 96 km/h) in around 3.1 seconds and reach a peak speed of 197 mph. Moreover, the 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ has two extra radiators to improve cooling efficiency and track performance further. Additionally, the front and rear differentials' radiators are located on top of the vehicle, and there is an active cooling system for the transfer case.

To "optimize airflow to the brakes, which increases durability and prevents excessive brake temperatures," the designers adjusted the underbody air vanes and brake cover plates. Notable features also include active rear-axle steering and active ride control.

"If you're looking to not only enjoy your AMG GT on the road but also tackle some fast laps on the race track, the GT 63 Pro is the ideal choice," stated Michael Schiebe, Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-AMGTM.
