Ford F-150 Lobo Packs V8 Power, 22s, And Street Style For $60K

Ford is giving the F-150 a street-smart makeover with the new "Lobo" package—its boldest attempt yet to tap into modern street truck culture. Following the Maverick Lobo, this full-size version brings the same attitude in a bigger, louder package.
Named after the Spanish word for “wolf,” the F-150 Lobo goes heavy on style. Offered on STX trims with the SuperCrew cab only, the package adds a custom grille, aggressive bodykit, and a 2-inch rear suspension drop that makes the truck sit lower and meaner. Glossy black 22-inch wheels, hood vents, a dual-layer LED light bar, revised taillights, and discreet Lobo badging round out the visual upgrade.

The truck shown wears Agate Black Metallic, but other color options include Atlas Blue, Rapid Red, Carbonized Gray, and Oxford White. Under the hood, though, things stay stock. You get the familiar 5.0-liter V8 with 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic and standard four-wheel drive.

Despite the aggressive stance and sporty cues, the Lobo doesn’t get any extra performance tweaks—at least not from the factory. But Ford knows its audience. “Lobo is ready for the road just as it is,” says Ford designer Josh Blundo. “But we know some will take this great foundation for future personalization.”

For buyers looking to mod, a simple ECU tune could unlock a bit more punch from the naturally aspirated V8. The Lobo package adds $4,695 to the base $55,995 STX price—not cheap, but it’s a ready-made custom look backed by a factory warranty.

Sure, the Ford F-150 Lobo won’t replace a full-blown performance truck, but for anyone craving a factory-built street truck with real presence, it’s a howling good start.
