Ferrari Daytona SP3 Just Got Louder And Wilder Thanks To Novitec

Novitec looked at the Ferrari Daytona SP3, which is already one of the most extreme cars Ferrari has ever built, and decided it could handle a bit more power.
The SP3 already comes with Ferrari’s most powerful naturally aspirated V12, making 829 hp, which is honestly more than enough for almost anyone. Still, Novitec decided to push it a bit further. They installed a high-performance exhaust that adds another 28 hp, bringing the total up to 868 hp.

It is not a massive increase on paper, but you can definitely feel the difference. The bigger change is the sound. The new exhaust makes the V12 deeper and meaner. Want to keep it quiet? There’s an electronic system that lets you dial it down. Cruise quietly or go full track mode - your choice.

Visually, nothing crazy has changed. No widebody kits, no extra wings. The SP3 already looks insane. The exhaust still exits through the same dual pipes, though under the hood, it’s insulated properly. You can even opt for gold plating for heat control if you’re feeling fancy.

On the outside, the only real change is a set of new forged Vossen wheels, 20 inch up front and 21 inch at the rear. The suspension stays exactly how Ferrari set it up. Inside, buyers can go wild with customization, choosing leather or Alcantara in almost any color you can think of.

When the SP3 first launched, it cost about $2.3 million. Fast forward to today, and the value has climbed massively. At Monterey Car Week last year, Ferrari auctioned off the very last SP3 for $26 million, with the full amount donated to charity.

We think Novitec handled it the right way. The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is already such a wild, emotional car that trying to “fix” it would almost feel wrong, and turning up the power and making it sound even more aggressive? That feels like giving the car what it deserves without messing with its soul.
