Ferrari Daytona SP3 Auctioned For $26M At Monterey Car Week

Ferrari just dropped the mic at Monterey. The 600th and final Daytona SP3 crossed the block and went for a mind-melting $26 million. Yup, twenty-six. That’s over five times the “normal” sticker price for one of these unicorns. And every dollar goes straight to charity.
The car itself is as wild as the price. Half of it glows in Ferrari’s Giallo Modena yellow; the other half shows off raw carbon fiber. Inside, the seats are trimmed in material made from recycled tires, mixed with the same carbon fiber Ferrari uses in Formula 1.

Don’t think they dialed back the hardware. This thing still packs the Daytona’s 6.5-liter V12 that belts out 828 horsepower, screaming to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch. It’s everything you want from the last of Ferrari’s modern naturally aspirated icons.

Ferrari didn’t just sell a car here. They sold history, exclusivity, and bragging rights, all while throwing millions at a good cause. That’s one way to make sure the Daytona SP3 doesn’t just exit quietly but with the kind of fireworks only Maranello can deliver.
