Evasive Motorsports Modified A Tesla Model 3 To Compete In Pikes Peak Hillclimb

Recently, Turn 14 Distribution, the performance warehouse giant, announced, its title sponsorship for the Evasive Motorsports' Tesla Model 3 Performance campaign at the 2021 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. As Daryl Sampson, Director of Marketing of Turn 14 Distributions, the company's main goal is to be an industry leader, and that their involvement in the project is another step into supporting the growth of the EV and hybrid market.

Evasive Motorsports and Turn 14 Distributions share the same idea and the partnership results in the second's sponsorship of the athlete and wheel ace, Dai Yoshihara - the talented racer on the previous drift, time attack, and hill climb events. Yoshihara will drive the modified Tesla Model 3 and will participate at the Pikes Peak Hillclimb this year.

The tuner competed at Pikes Peak six times before and in 2020 they succeeded. At a previous Unlimited Division competition where they were victorious with Yoshihara behind the tuned Toyota 86 powered by the Supra-derived 2JZ-GTE. This year they'd like to repeat the success with a modified Tesla Model 3.

This one is an intriguing competitor and everyone is eager to see its performance on the Hillclimb. The modifications made created an attractive outfit and hides plenty of aftermarkets, pointing out the EV front. For those who don't know about Evasive's other projects, the firm's team loves a challenge, and this project is a real one, because of its new, fully electric platform.

The sleek, functional look comes as no surprise as Evasive Motorsports has earned a reputation for piecing together some incredible race builds over the years and we can't wait to see this Tesla in action during their race to the clouds.

The rendering of the car consisted of increasing the width and lowering the Model 3 base around Artisan Spirits aero. Originally, the kit was designed as subtle and street-friendly, but Evasive's version points out the crazy spirit with an aggressive splitter, winglets, and vented and flared fenders upfront. The rear has a razor-sharp bumper diffuser and swan neck-style mounts that place the large, dual-plane wing just behind the car's body.
