Dreame Wants to Go From Robot Vacuums to 2,000-HP EVs

Dreame is stepping into the car space, and it’s going all in. They’ve got an event planned in San Francisco, and at the same time, they’re spending time with people at UC Berkeley, digging into AI and self-driving tech.
Their engineers met with people working on self-driving tech and smart transport, trying to figure out how to turn all that research into something that actually works on the road.

Stuff like safety, control, and how to tie everything together through software. It doesn’t look like a random visit either. Feels more like they’re trying to build real connections.
They’re also pushing their Nebula Next 01 concept alongside all this. It showed up at CES as a four-door electric hyper-sedan with some wild claims. Close to 2,000 hp and a 0–100 km/h time of 1.8 seconds. Big numbers, maybe a bit optimistic, but they get people talking.

The car even made an appearance at Berkeley, which says a lot. Part demo, part statement. Dreame wants to be seen as more than a vacuum brand.
Still, it’s early. There’s a mix of real effort and a bit of hype here. Now they need to show they can turn all this into a proper car people can actually drive.
