Chevy Debuts Stars & Steel Collection For America’s 250th Anniversary

Chevrolet is stepping into America’s 250th anniversary with something a little more meaningful than a badge refresh. The brand has launched the Stars & Steel Collection, a limited run of special-edition models built to highlight American craftsmanship and the vehicles Chevy still proudly assembles on U.S. soil.
The lineup covers five nameplates: Corvette, Colorado, Silverado, Silverado HD, and the Silverado EV. Every model gets a bit of patriotic flair, but Chevy doesn’t go overboard.

Corvette Stars & Steel
The Corvette gets the most exclusive treatment. Buyers can choose Arctic White or Black, dressed with full-length stripes inspired by the American flag in either Satin Silver or Satin Black. Subtle “250” markings appear on the doors and spoiler, and the car rides on a choice of Gloss Black, Carbon Flash, or Carbon Fiber wheels. Inside, Santorini Blue or Adrenaline Red gives the cabin real presence. Only 250 cars will be built, and you’ll need to spec a 3LT or 3LZ model to get it.

Colorado Stars & Steel
The Colorado Trail Boss transforms into a tougher-looking truck thanks to blackout graphics, gloss-black 20-inch wheels, red tow hooks, and the full Midnight Package with a sport bar and auxiliary lights. Chevy also throws in practical gear, like a spray-in bedliner, a soft tonneau cover, rocker bars, and skid plates.

Silverado Stars & Steel
On the Silverado 1500 RST, the package pairs the 6.2-liter V8 with black or white paint, 22-inch gloss-black wheels, and a Brembo brake upgrade with red six-piston calipers. A bed cover, intake upgrade, sunroof, and bedliner are part of the bundle.

Meanwhile, the Silverado HD Trail Boss variant sticks to the familiar black-or-white look but adds a long list of factory packages, including Z71 Off-Road, LTZ Convenience II, and Max Trailering, all powered by the 6.6-liter Duramax diesel.

Silverado EV Stars & Steel
The electric Silverado comes in strong with 24-inch wheels, black badging, and a beefed-up Brembo setup featuring large 15.7-inch rotors and red six-piston calipers.
For anyone who doesn’t want a full special edition, Chevy will also offer a simpler Stars & Steel appearance package with stripes and “250” graphics.

And for collectors, Chevy is auctioning a one-off Corvette ZR1X with a Stars & Steel theme at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale event on January 24. Every dollar from the sale will go to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Production starts next spring, and Chevrolet will donate $250 to veteran-support nonprofits for each Stars & Steel vehicle sold.
