Can-Am Announces Updated 2022 Models Of Its On-Road Lineup

For 2022, Can-Am has revamped its all On-Road portfolio, which includes new versions of the Ryker and Spyder three-wheelers. The new Rally and Sport models are available in the Ryker line, while the F3-S Special Series and F3 Limited Special Series are accessible in the Spyder F3 line, and the RT Sea-to-Sk is offered in the Spyder RT line.

Can-entry-level Am's three-wheeler, the Ryker, has been upgraded for 2022. The updated Ryker Rally is the first of these updates, and it comes with a slew of enhancements to make it more appropriate for off-road use. Rally wheels and all-terrain tires, an air intake pre-filter, aluminum underbody shielding, and adjustable KYB suspension with greater travel and ground clearance are among the improvements.

Mudflaps and hand shields are now included for improved rider safety, as well as a redesigned seat, handlebars, and footpegs for added comfort. Auxiliary LED lights and an Akrapovic exhaust complete the modifications, making the Ryker Rally stand out. It's worth mentioning, though, that while the Ryker Rally has a Rally Mode that allows for controllable drifts, Can-Am expressly said that the bike isn't intended for real off-road riding, but rather sand and dirt tracks.

The Ryker Sport, which features many of the mechanical enhancements seen on the Ryker Rally but is more suited to on-road use, offers a more premium experience for the user. The Sport includes adjustable KYB suspension and a redesigned, more comfortable seat, however, it isn't adjusted in the same manner as the Rally.

The Sport's Sport Mode, like the Rally's Rally Mode, enables controlled slides on asphalt rather than gravel. The Rotax 900 ACE engine, which is a 900cc 3-cylinder with 82 horsepower (83.1 PS / 61.1 kW) and 58.5 lb-ft (79.1 Nm) of torque, is fitted to both the Ryker Rally and the Ryker Sport.

Both versions now have cruise control, which was introduced in the Ryker portfolio for the 2022 model year. The F3-S Special Series, F3 Limited Special Series, and RT Sea-to-Sky are all new for 2022 in the Spyder lineup. The Super Sport grille, the Mono seat cowl, and a gauge spoiler are all standard features on the F3-S Special Series.

It also includes gas-charged KYB front shocks, Sport Mode, Manta Green paint, and “a special package for the sports enthusiasts that arrives pre-equipped with various accessories,” according to the manufacturer.

The F3 Limited Special Series follows, which is a more comfy version of the F3-S Special Series. It has a comfortable seat, removable rider backrest, short-reach handlebar, auxiliary lighting, and 36.5 gallons (138 liters) of storage as a result. The F3 Limited Special Series also has Viper Red coloring and the Super Sport grille, retaining some of the F3-S's powerful appearance without compromising comfort.

Finally, there's the top-of-the-line RT Sea-to-Sky, which is meant to be Can-Am's most luxurious three-wheeler. The RT Sea-to-Sky is the most comfortable motorbike in the Spyder series, and it was designed with lengthy travels in mind. It has a driver backrest that can be adjusted, adaptive foam seats with lumbar support, and side wind disruptors.

The Sea-to-Sky also has distinctive Mystery Blue paint, silver 12-spoke wheels, silvery details, and Sea-to-Sky stitching, among other features. The Rotax 1330 ACE motor, a 1,330 cc three-cylinder with 115 horsepower (116.6 PS / 85.8 kW) and 96 lb-ft (130.1 Nm) of torque, is standard on all Spyder F3 and Spyder RT versions. Because of the COVID-related supply chain difficulties, all MY2022 models are scheduled to be delivered in February of next year, with accessories likely to be accessible by then.
