Brabus 1000 Debuts With 1,342 lb-ft of Torque And Insane 2.6-Second 0–62 Time

The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance is already a serious machine, but Brabus decided that wasn’t enough. Their latest creation, called the Brabus 1000, takes things to the extreme with 986 bhp and a monstrous 1,342 lb-ft of torque. That torque is electronically limited to 1,195 lb-ft to protect the transmission. Despite all this power, the car still meets European emissions regulations.
Most of the gains come from enlarging the engine to 4.5 liters (actually 4,407 cc). Brabus added forged pistons, upgraded turbochargers, and a custom billet crankshaft.
The car also features a high-performance exhaust system with catalytic converters and particulate filters. With all these upgrades, it can rocket from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.6 seconds. It hits 124 mph in 9.5 seconds and reaches 186 mph in 23.6 seconds. Top speed stays electronically limited at 199 mph.

The body kit is full carbon fiber and includes a new front spoiler, aero flaps, canards, and a more aggressive grille. On the sides, carbon mirror caps and flared wheel arches make it stand out, while the KW suspension lowers the body by about 0.8 inches. At the rear, there's a new diffuser with four large exhaust tips and a fixed rear wing to match the front aero.

Step inside, and the cabin gets a full Brabus treatment. There’s quilted leather almost everywhere—even on the trunk liner. Carbon trim, red-accented controls, and illuminated Brabus sills add flash without going overboard. You’ll also find blue puddle lights and new sport pedals to complete the look.

Pricing hasn’t been revealed, but considering the stock car starts at around $200,000, expect this package to push deep into six-figure territory. And if that still isn’t wild enough, Brabus also offers the Rocket GTS, which turns the SL Roadster into a 1,000-hp shooting brake with a fixed roof and an entirely new vibe.
