BMW M Performance Parts Give X3 A Sportier Edge

Although BMW's M division has not released a performance-oriented X3 for the current generation, adding M Performance Parts gives the vehicle a more aggressive appearance.

BMW makes these accessories from high-strength aramid, high-gloss polyurethane, or carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP). The company claims these parts enhance both the vehicle's style and aerodynamics.

First things first: the new splitter has a glossy black finish, just like the rest of the M Sport bumper and grille, which are dark in color. Although a more practical 20-inch variant that can accommodate both summer and winter tires is available, the 22-inch Y-spoke light-alloy wheels serve as the profile's focal point. A carbon fuel filler cap, Frozen Black side decals, and the distinctive BMW M mirrors are further added features.

The M Performance upgrade package features a sportier rear bumper, a redesigned diffuser, and a prominent roof spoiler. The spoiler typically comes in a glossy black finish but can be customized to match the car's body color. Additionally, BMW provides carbon quad tailpipes exclusively for the X3 M50 xDrive, which is the top model in the lineup.

The available M Performance interior components for BMW vehicles include carbon or aluminum door sills, stainless steel pedals, and distinctive floor mats with contrasting stitching. BMW also provides a stylish key holder made from a combination of Alcantara and carbon-look leather, as well as an anodized aluminum locking button that features a colorful M logo.

 2025 BMW X3

If you already own a fourth-generation X3, you can enhance it with the factory-fit body kit from the M Sport Package or the M Sport Package Pro, along with the BMW M Performance Parts mentioned earlier. The X3 M50 xDrive, equipped with a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder mild-hybrid engine that generates 393 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque, is the optimal choice; however, these parts can be used with any powertrain.

 2025 BMW X3

The BMW X3 M50 xDrive with M Performance Parts will likely remain the sportiest internal combustion engine (ICE) version. The upcoming electric "Neue Klasse" iX3, expected to debut next year, may become a full BMW M model.
