BMW has a knack for catering to markets that love extra space, and its latest move proves just that. While Chinese buyers have long embraced stretched models, BMW is now bringing the long-wheelbase 3-Series to India, dubbed the 330Li M Sport.
Built at BMW’s Chennai plant, this version is 4.17 inches (106 mm) longer than the standard 3-Series, stretching to 189.7 inches (4,819 mm). More crucially, the wheelbase has been extended by 4.33 inches (110 mm) to 116.5 inches (2,961 mm), making it the longest sedan in its segment.

Inside, the 330Li M Sport gets BMW’s aluminum rhombicle anthracite trim, the signature Curved Display, a flat-bottomed M leather steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting.
Under the hood, all Indian-market BMW 3-Series models are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 258 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. Mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, it sends power to the rear wheels, allowing the sedan to hit 62 mph in 6.2 seconds.

In India, the BMW 330Li M Sport starts at INR 6,260,000 (roughly $71,500), placing it in premium territory. Moreover, the new BMW 3-Series is the latest addition to its locally built lineup, ensuring Indian buyers get their own taste of long-wheelbase luxury.
