The 992 family of Porsche 911 keeps on growing, as new versions of 911 GTS join the line-up.  They may not be as powerful as Turbo and Turbo S, but they do differ from the regular 911 Carrera with more power, sportier design, and revised GTS-tuned suspension system. There is a total of 5 versions presented.

The rear-wheel-drive fans can choose the coupe or the cabriolet style. 911 Carrera 4 GTS relies on an all-wheel-drive system, while the 911 Targa 4 GTS runs on AWD blended with its own style.

The new versions come with a 473 hp six-cylinder boxer engine, reaching a 420 lb-ft of torque. The transmission may be a dual-clutch 8-speed PDK, either a 7-speed manual. The first 100 km/h is reached in 3.1 seconds with the PDK version.

There are many details that the new GTS shares with 911 Turbo, including the tuned-up suspension and a high-performance braking system. Speaking of suspension, the standard one comes as a Porsche Active Suspension Management. The sport chassis is 10 mm lower, while 911 Targa 4 GTS borrows the chassis and PASM from 911 Targa 4S.

The standard trim comes with a sports exhaust system, which provides a little bit more emotional noise, due to the reduced interior isolation.

As an alternative, you may choose the Lightweight package, thus saving 55 pounds. This package comes with a lighter battery, full bucket seats made from carbon fiber reinforced plastic, lighter side and rear windows.

Unlike other 911 models, the 911 GTS carries silk gloss exterior highlights on the wheels and spoiler lips. The wheels measure 21 inches in the back and 20 inches in the front. The SportDesign package comes standardized and brings side, front, and rear sills special trims, while the headlight surrounds come in darker shades.

As for the interior, you’ll find Race-Tex material in black on the Sport Seats Plus, featuring electric adjustments. The standard trim includes a GT Sport steering wheel, with the gear lever on the manual transmission being reduced by 0.4 inches, making the speed shifting much easier, according to Porsche.

All trims include the Porsche Track Precision app and the Sport Chrono package. You may add some decorative inserts on top of that and enjoy much better connectivity with the fresh Porsche infotainment system.

As for the prices, they start at USD 136.700 for the RWD coupe, reaching USD 149.500 for the RWD Cabriolet. The AWD models cost USD 144.000 and USD 156.800 respectively. The same price goes for Targa 4 GTS. The first deliveries will take place at the beginning of next year.
