2026 Jeep Wrangler Willys 392 Starts At $69,995

As part of its Twelve 4 Twelve campaign, Jeep has just introduced the new Wrangler Willys 392, which is basically a more stripped-back, slightly more affordable way to get a HEMI under the hood.
It sits below the Wrangler Moab 392 in the lineup and starts at $69,995, plus a $1,995 destination fee. That still isn’t cheap, but it’s about $10,000 less than the Moab version, which makes this the most attainable V8 Wrangler you can buy right now.

And yes, it still packs the good stuff. Under the hood is Jeep’s 6.4-liter V8, pushing out 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. It rides on Dana 44 axles with 4.56 gearing, gets an electronic locking rear diff, and rolls on 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels wrapped in chunky 35-inch BF Goodrich KO2 tires. In other words, it’s built to get dirty.

You also get rock rails, steel bumpers, LED lighting, and a functional cold-air intake hood with a water separator. Ground clearance sits at 11.1 inches, and Jeep includes a Trailer Tow Package as standard. There are Willys hood decals and heritage 4WD graphics to give it that classic vibe.

Inside, it’s a mix of rugged and comfortable. Heated power front seats come wrapped in Nappa leather, and there’s a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with built-in navigation. You also get a nine-speaker Alpine sound system and four programmable auxiliary switches for accessories.

Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf said the company heard from customers who wanted something more traditional, a back-to-basics Wrangler, but still with a proper V8. The Jeep Wrangler Willys 392 is meant to hit that sweet spot. Simple formula: classic Wrangler feel, big HEMI power, slightly lower price. For anyone who thought the V8 Wrangler days were winding down, this says otherwise. Orders open in March.
