2025 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Packs 550 HP From Twin-Turbo Inline-Six

The new Charger Scat Pack sounds like Dodge shaking off the corporate dust to get to the good stuff: making cars that make noise, that leave rubber, and that don’t apologize for either.
It’s got a twin-turbo straight-six under the hood churning out 550 horsepower, and that gives you the hint that Dodge isn’t ready to go quietly into the EV age. It’s quick, too. A 531 pound-feet torque launches it in just 3.9 seconds and finishes at 177 mph.

For a sedan that starts at just under 60 grand, that's kind of wild. You'd be hard-pressed to find anything quite this fast that feels properly mechanical. It’s all very nice, but there’s more to it. Grip in all-wheel drive, a rear-drive mode when you want to misbehave, Brembo brakes, and proper launch control. And there’s even a dual-mode exhaust that promises some of the Hurricane six-cylinder character.

Dodge didn’t go overboard inside. Big 12.3-inch screen, suede and carbon bits, performance seats—enough of a thing to feel special without treating it as a luxury car. It’s clean and rugged, and it feels like it was conceived by people who still enjoy driving. Production kicks off early next year, with a cheaper R/T version to follow. But at the time, it is all about the Dodge Charger Scat.
