2025 Corvette ZR1X Delivers Hypercar Performance Under $210K

Alright, let’s have some fun with this. So, the new 2025 Corvette ZR1X is here… and it’s a monster. We’re talking 1,250 horsepower, 878 lb-ft of torque, and a top speed that’ll make your eyes water at 233 mph. The price? $207,395 with destination included. Yeah, that’s not pocket change, but when you compare, it starts looking like a bargain.
Ferrari F80? That’s $3.7 million. McLaren W1? $2.1 million. Lamborghini Revuelto? $608k. Even the Lamborghini Temerario, which is closer in concept, starts at $390k. Ford’s Nürburgring nemesis, the Mustang GTD? That’s $327,960. The ZR1X is basically giving you hypercar performance without the hypercar mortgage.

That price gets you the coupe, but if you want to drop the top, the convertible starts at $217,395. Feeling fancy? The 3LZ trim throws in some extra goodies for a bit more—$218,395 for the coupe or $228,395 for the convertible.

Now here’s where it gets spicy. Chevy is doing a special ZR1X Quail Silver Limited Edition for The Quail supercar show in Monterey later this month. Exclusive to the 3LZ convertible, it starts at $241,395 and gets a custom interior in Sky Cool and Medium Ash Gray with Habanero accents, plus the first factory matte paint on a Corvette in 60 years. Blade Silver Matte, if you want the full name.

You can also tick the box for the ZTK Performance Package, which offers stiffer springs, tweaked chassis controls, carbon-fiber aero, and Michelin Pilot Cup 2R tires. Basically, everything you’d need if you plan to scare yourself (and your passenger) on a track day.
Chevy’s not saying how many Quail Silver cars will be built, but “very few” feels like a safe bet. They’re showing it off August 15 at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.

So, the question is, do you go for the “regular” 1,250-hp ZR1X and save a few bucks, or do you splurge on the rare one just so you can say, “Oh, this? Yeah, one of only a handful in the world?”
