2022 Jeep Wagoneer IS Packed With Big V8 power

Jeep is finally releasing again the Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer 30 years later. These two big SUVs are almost identical to the concept, but the 2022 production version still has some minor changes to the exterior, but the company wanted to keep the under-hood spec intact. The Grand Wagoneer, just like its name, is bigger and heavier. The price would be no wonder if it’ll fit the big expectations.

The concept presented before can be seen on the production Jeep, especially the hick, body-color pillars, and wide, boxy shape. The headlights and the grille are a bit taller, while the taillights are tighter and there are no more wood accents in the lights and roof rails gone.  Still, the launched SUVs are way much better looking.

First of all, the design differences between the 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer are few. For example, the Grand Wagoneer has a black roof and a taller grille, and other unique designs, while the Wagoneer has a body-colored roof and a slightly shorter grille.  Also, its lettering is mounted on the hood. The taillight designs differ, and there are the 20 or 22-inch wheels.

Jeep promises more cargo space overall, and 27.4 cubic feet of space behind the third row and up to 10,000 pounds of towing capacity.  The interior didn’t suffer many changes. You can still find the similarities to the concept – bi-level dashboard, two-spoke steering wheel, and model dash lettering.

The Standard Wagoneer comes with a 10.25-inch instrument display, a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, and leather-trimmed seats and steering wheel. The Grand Wagoneer has an upgraded 12.3-inch instrument display, a 12-inch infotainment screen, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen for climate control, with aluminum, walnut wood, and leather-wrapped dash components.

The V8 engine used for both Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer adds extra power. The Wagoneer is powered by the 5.7-liter V8 and the eTorque 48-volt starter-generator motor delivering 392 hp and 547 Nm of torque. The Grand Wagoneer has a 6.4-liter V8, but no eTorque motor, still delivering 471 hp and up to 617 power of torque.
