Honda decided to unveil its new 11th-generation Civic Sedan. The 2022 Honda Civic features the latest tech specs such as a digital instrument panel, Bose sound system, and along comes a revised exterior. Despite the new techs, the main purpose for the 2022 Civic is to keep the brand's best-selling cars in America on top for the last five decades.

This Civic is a simpler one, following the '70s philosophy for both exterior and interior. The team turned this car into a premium one. Honda makes it available in eight exterior colors and three of the color designs especially for this model new ones: Meteorite Gray Metallic, Sonic Gray Pearl, and the Civic-exclusive Morning Mist Blue Metallic. The whole simple concept is inspired by the Man Maximum/Machine Minimum. So far, Honda revealed that, first of all, we get the thin and light body borrowed from the M/M.

For a simpler look, Honda moved the bottom of the wind shield pillars back two inches, making the hood with a bigger appearance and more classic proportions. The longer and wider makes more space for the passenger's head, legs, hips, and shoulder inside. You can also notice the wider highlighted rear track sitting on strong rear shoulders and wide-set LED taillights. Meanwhile, we also get the sporty look for more aero efficiency.

Talking about the interior, the Honda Civic has a 10.2-inch fully digital instrument panel and a 7-inch infotainment screen as standard, along with an 0.8-inch finger rest at the bottom of the touchscreen but you can opt for an available 9-inch infotainment screen. Upgraded with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard and a standard Qi-compatible wireless charging for the Touring trim.  Every function is controlled by the central touchscreen, but you still can find physical controls for the A/C. There is even a volume knob for the sound system - keep in mind that it's a 12-speaker one by Bose.

For the interior, Honda used materials to ensure a premium feel with a visual honeycomb mesh accent that goes across the dash with the hidden purpose to hide the air vents. As you've noticed already, the Civic design is all about looks. The 2022 Honda Civic is designed to be a safer one in case of a crash by introducing the world-first airbag aimed to reduce brain injuries. It's a donut-shaped driver-side airbag that cradles the head in an accident, along with the three-sided passenger airbag that similarly opens like a book.
