The Verge TS Pro Is First Motorcycle With Solid-State Batteries Unveiled
by AutoExpert | 12 January, 2026
Solid-state batteries are finally hitting the roads, and Verge Motorcycles is one of the first to use them. These batteries charge faster, last longer, and are safer than normal ones.
The Verge TS Pro will get the new battery in two sizes. The smaller one gives about 217 miles of range, and the bigger one pushes it to 370 miles. Charge it on a 200 kW NACS charger, and you can get nearly 186 miles of range in just ten minutes. Thankfully, Verge says this doesn’t make the bike more expensive.

The battery should last the bike’s entire life, unlike regular batteries that wear out after thousands of charges. It’s also fireproof, making it safer on the road and at charging stations. Donut Lab, the company behind it, says it works in extreme heat and cold and keeps almost all its power.

The bike's motor makes 137 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque, so it goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. The Verge TS Pro starts at $29,900 and will arrive in the first quarter.

Basically, long-range, fast charging, and safe batteries could make electric motorcycles finally practical for everyday use.
