If you fancy a Bugatti Type 35 or an Aston Martin, but if you want a driveable licensed scale replica of cars, the Little Car Company is your best chance at making your dreams come true. Their last project is an 8/10th version of one of Tamiya's most iconic 1980s R/C cars. You can build it on your own, but let's make it clear- make some room in your garage because you won't be able to build it inside your house.

The original Wild One appeared on the market back in 1985, and along with other Tamiya kits, even today is one of the most loved R/C cars. A partnership between Tamiya and The Little Car Company resulted in a new project - the Wild One Max. It's a driveable modern with battery-powered, similar to the original, a 138-inches (3.5 meters) long home, and 550 lbs (250 kg) - pretty big toy to play with.

Dubbed Max, the vehicle is built around a steel spaceframe chassis, coil-over suspension, hydraulic Brembo brakes, and 15-inch off-road tires. A 2 kWh battery offers a 25 miles range and a rear-mounted electric motor that sends five horsepower to the rear wheels so, the Max offers a 30 mph (48 km/h).

This car has no windshield or doors so, be ready. Still, the Max and is very similar to the Ariel Nomad and is a big toy for big children (adults). If you're a fan of some more adventurous experience, know that the Little Car Company is already working battery and motor upgrades to boost both range and performance. There will be racing harnesses, upgraded brake, and suspension packs, plus a Tarmac Pack comprising of road-biased tires and mudguards.

It is no wonder that the Wild One Max complies with the European Quadricycle Legislation, and U.S. Neighborhood Electric Vehicle Legislation, Road Legal Pack. It includes mirrors, turns signals, brake lights, so you take it for a real ride without problem. The Wild One Max price is around $8250 and is expected in 2022, and you can reserve a build slot today for a refundable $72 deposit.
