The fold-up electric-assist GoCycle is your choice number one for a quick trip if we ever go back to the monotonous long traffic jams. Or maybe during the pandemic, you became a fan of cycling and love to conquer new paths. 

The first thing you will notice would be the atypical tiny wheels, sky-high seat. As its name suggests, the GoCycle is foldable and fits in most car trunks. GoCycle’s various offerings go between 40 and 60 miles depending on the model, which is great for a fold-up bike, but admittedly the same as mainstream conventional e-bikes that cost in the mid-$1,000 range.

The GoCycle is powered by its 500-watt electric motor mounted in the front wheel hub and can reach a mandated speed limit of 20 mph (32 kmh). It feeds in electricity while you pedal and includes a throttle override. You can even choose between different amounts of motor assist - City, Eco, City Plus, and Custom modes via the GoCycle app connected to the bike via Bluetooth. The app is a clever dashboard showing speed, charge status, and gear on your phone.
