Aston Martin’s New $80,000 Racing Simulator Looks Like A Valkyrie Cockpit

Aston Martin has revealed a new version of its ultra-expensive racing simulator, and it’s aimed at the kind of person who thinks a normal sim rig looks a little too sensible for the living room.
Built together with Curv Racing Simulators, the new AMR-C01-R Hypercar Edition celebrates Aston Martin’s return to Le Mans with the Valkyrie race car in 2026. Only 24 examples will be made, finished in colors inspired by the #007 and #009 Valkyries competing at the famous 24-hour race.

The simulator itself looks more like a futuristic sculpture than gaming equipment. It uses a full carbon-fiber monocoque with a seating position inspired by the Valkyrie hypercar and even works Aston Martin’s grille shape into the design. Somehow it looks equally at home in a race garage, luxury penthouse, or sci-fi movie.

The biggest upgrade is the steering wheel, which borrows heavily from the actual Valkyrie race car. It combines carbon fiber and aluminum construction with an integrated display, illuminated buttons, magnetic paddle shifters, and customizable controls. Aston Martin test driver Darren Turner says the whole goal was to make the driving position and steering feel as close as possible to the real race car.

Behind the wheel sits serious hardware, too. There’s a 49-inch curved Samsung Odyssey display with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, powered by an NVIDIA RTX 50-series graphics card, an Intel processor, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 2TB SSD. Interestingly, the rig itself stays completely static, so despite the race-car looks, the seat won’t shake or throw you around through corners.

Then comes the price: £58,750 ($80,000). The only thing virtual here is the racing.
