Zyrus Engineering Reveals Lamborghini Huracan Evo With 1,000 Horsepower

Zyrus Engineering has taken the Lamborghini Huracan Evo and created a more road-friendly version called the LP1020 Stimolante. It's like a cousin to their wild Nurburgring-smashing LP1200 Strada.

This car has a lot of racing genes from its track-dominating sibling. To start with, Zyrus fiddled with hundreds of parts and slapped on two turbos to the 5.2-liter V10 engine.

Now, here's the fun part: it has different power modes. The base "Strada" mode has 690 hp, which is plenty. But switch to "Corsa," and it roars up to 838 hp. And if you've got the secret code, you can unleash a mind-boggling 1,074 hp and 735 lb-ft of torque. That last mode isn't a six-second quarter-mile rocket, but it's blisteringly fast.

To make it road-legal, you might think they tamed it down a bit. Nope! Even with all that power, Zyrus proudly claims to be TUV-certified in Germany and approved across the EU. But it's not just about power. They've added carbon fiber bits like a splitter, underplates, and a massive rear wing. It's got loads of downforce, which helps in the corners.

Zyrus tweaked the suspension with Ohlins shock absorbers, fitted unique lightweight wheels with special Pirelli tires, and upgraded the brakes with carbon ceramic discs. Inside, you'll find a black interior with turquoise touches. It still has those cool carbon fiber seats from Lamborghini, but now there's loads of safety gear, like 6-point seat belts, a titanium half-roll cage, and even a fire extinguisher.

The cherry on top is the Smart Dash data logging system, complete with two HD cameras to help you improve your driving. The car comes with a 3-year/12,500-mile warranty that includes track driving. Plus, it includes three service visits. While the tuner hasn't spilled the beans on the price, they're only making 24 of these, so it's safe to say it'll be pretty expensive.
