Mopar Gave the 2027 Dodge Charger More Attitude — But No Extra Horsepower
by AutoExpert | 29 October, 2026
Mopar is turning 90, and its birthday present comes with carbon fiber, a hood scoop, and enough attitude to fill a parking lot. Meet the Mopar '27 Dodge Charger, a limited-edition package that gives Dodge's six-cylinder muscle car a tougher appearance. It will make its first appearance at the NHRA Las Vegas Nationals before rolling into SEMA next week. Only 270 cars are planned, so buyers will have to move fast if they want one.
Mopar is asking an extra $10,995 for the package, which comes in Bludicrous, Diamond Black, and White Knuckle. Each color gets 90 cars, with 243 staying in the US and just 27 heading to Canada.

The upgrades include a carbon-fiber front splitter, a sculpted hood with a scoop, a cold-air intake, and a carbon-fiber rear spoiler. Special graphics, an exclusive cabin badge, and a numbered plaque under the hood finish the job. It's a Charger that wants you to notice it before you've even heard it start.
However, all that extra muscle-car attitude comes without extra horsepower. The R/T keeps its twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six producing 420 hp, enough to reach 60 mph in 4.6 seconds. The Scat Pack brings 550 hp and cuts that time to 3.9 seconds, thanks to larger Garrett turbochargers and upgraded engine parts. It also gets leather performance seats, carbon and suede trim, the Blacktop Package, and 20-inch wheels.

Mopar's SEMA show car goes a little further with a performance exhaust, 21-inch Brass Monkey wheels, and new springs. The company has released 15 special-edition packages since 2010, including versions of the Dodge Dart, Durango, and Ram 1500. This is the Charger's fourth turn in the spotlight. There's more on the stand, too, including Rumble Bee trucks, Jeep concepts, and a 1969 Charger Daytona Tribute with a supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcrate V8. For anyone who still believes a muscle car should have eight cylinders, that last one might steal the show.
