Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) has unveiled a stunning restomod that mixes the best of classic and modern: the TWR Supercat, built on the iconic Jaguar XJS. This car isn't just a tribute; it's a complete overhaul that takes the legendary design and supercharges it with contemporary performance and style.

The Supercat’s new look is aggressive yet refined, with a complete redesign by Khyzyl Saleem in lightweight carbon fiber. The widened fender flares, which stretch the car by 7.2 inches, give it a supercar-worthy stance. TWR's custom 18- and 19-inch Forged Monobloc wheels complement the body with more intakes and dynamic aero elements.

Modern LED lighting adds a futuristic touch to its unmistakable silhouette. Inside, TWR has gone all-out. The Supercat ditches the original 2+2 seating in favor of a two-seat configuration with more luggage space for long trips. Every detail of the cabin speaks to luxury, from the carbon-backed seats to the leather dashboard and custom door panels. A digital instrument cluster, modern infotainment system, and aluminum switchgear ensure this is as much about cutting-edge tech as it is about classic comfort.

The custom gear knob and meticulously crafted details tie the whole interior together, making it feel like a high-end cockpit. Under the hood, the TWR Supercat is a beast. A new cylinder head, billet cams, and a supercharger enhance the original 5.3-liter V12 to 5.6 liters, propelling the engine to a remarkable 660 hp and 538 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential transfer all that power to the rear wheels.

Jaguar XJS

Built for thrills, this restomod features a reinforced chassis, adjustable suspension, and carbon-ceramic brakes to handle the increased performance. With fully programmable traction control, launch control, and five driving modes, the Supercat offers an exhilarating experience whether on the track or cruising the open road. TWR asserts that this car seamlessly combines extreme performance and comfort, providing drivers with the ultimate driving experience.

Jaguar XJS

Only 88 units of the Supercat will be built, each priced at £225,000 (~$285,000), not including the cost of the donor XJS. As Jaguar shifts to an all-electric future, the Supercat feels like a powerful reminder of what makes classic, gas-powered cars so thrilling and a must-have for any collector who values performance and heritage.
